Black Raspberry

$14.00

Our black raspberry ice cream is . . . rich and extraordinary purple.

When we think about purple and the United States, we think not only of the purple mountain majesties where these delicious berries grow, but our highest hopes for our country’s identity. We are not a country split into red states or blue states. That’s a way of keeping us separated. Keeping us divided. We are more than that, we are better than that.

We see our country as fifty purple states—complex and distinct, with different histories, stories and dialects, but ultimately united in a belief that travels across every state border.

A vision that has the power to stretch from sea to shining sea.

A belief that can unite neighbors and be championed by Main Street, Wall Street, urban metropolises and small, rural towns.

The idea that the beauty, strength and greatness of America does not stem from a singular race, religion, creed or culture but from the principle that, “All of us are created equal, endowed by our Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.”

We hope our black raspberry ice cream can play a small, delicious part in reminding us to remain steadfast against the tides to identify ourselves as red or blue and embrace our identity as Americans united by the principles of equality that make our country great.

Ingredients:

Cream, Milk, Cane Sugar, Skim Milk Powder, Egg Yolk, Black Raspberry puree, Pectin, Citric Acid, and Pure Vanilla Extract
